It came with 4 pieces and was served on a cute “Coming to America” belt. Light and fortifying for any meal, including breakfast. This is a heartier miso soup than the traditional broth I usually make. You may think that you must have tofu and/or wakame seaweed to make miso soup, but you can make it with just about anything you have at home. A variation on the original miso soup (which, by the way is a great soup base in itself), this hearty vegetarian soup is really easy to make with readily available ingredients. I used vegetable broth and water instead of just water and loaded it with veggies and tofu. Good food for recovery from illness. I got a steaming hot shrimp tempura roll ($3) off the belt. Suitable for vegans and vegetarians. It is often served as a side for meals, be it breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I've done another, more simple version of this dish before.
